CEMIX Mortar is an adhesive mortar that comes in powder form. CEMIX Mortar is specially formulated out of a Portland cement base with select aggregates and special chemical additives for installing ceramic, marble, and natural stone tiles to concrete and cement surfaces. Can be used for installations on unlevel surfaces with up to ¾” (20 mm) difference.
CEMIX Mortar, when mixed with water, meets and exceeds the ANSI A 118.1.

- For installation of non-vitreous ceramic, clay, and natural stone tiles. For installations to completely cured concrete (at least 28 days old), prefabricated cement panels, and cement-sand leveling layers.
- Can be applied in thick coats of up to a 1” (25 mm) thickness.
- Available in grey and White. The white adhesive is ideal for using with translucent marble. For installations on treated triply wood (only in interiors), add CEMIX Latex 620, in place of water, to reinforce the mixture.
- Can be used for adhering tiles to walls.
- Use the correct notched trowel.

- Do not use for installing marble, Rosso Levanto marble, Negro Marquina marble, or veined granite and its agglomerates. For installation of these product types, use CEMIX Boquillex Epoxico.
- Use CEMIX Mortar for installation of clear or translucent marble and its agglomerates.
- Do not apply to particle board, composite materials, dry wall, asbestos cement panels, asphalt, metal, or to any other unstable or flexible material.
- Do not apply product at temperatures below 43?F (6? C) or to surfaces that are hot at the time of installation.
- Do not use this product to attach porcelain or impervious tiles.
- Do not use this product to install tile on tile. Use CEMIX AMU or CEMIX Porcelain Tile on Tile depending to the project specifications.
